I’m music store Presto Music’s current ‘Author Focus’ this year, which means that Presto publishes a video about my work every month on their YouTube channel and website. You can watch earlier videos in this series by clicking on the button below:
Part six focuses on my popular collection of elementary piano pieces ‘Ghostly Piano Tales.’ Published by Schott, this collection consists of 24 pieces for those of approximately Grades 1–3 level, and each one has its own ‘scary’ story connected to the occult. Whilst not written with Halloween in mind, the book does fit perfectly with this yearly spooky ‘event’, which is why we have published this particular video in October in preparation for the big day at the end of the month.
‘Ghostly Piano Tales’ won the “Best Printed Contemporary Sheet Music Prize” at the Art of Piano Education Awards in 2025.
