Ghostly Piano Tales (Schott) is an imaginative collection of 24 solo piano pieces for elementary to early intermediate level pianists, or from around Grade 1 – 3 of the British music examination syllabus standards.
This volume encapsulates a whole host of ghostly and supernatural phenomena from around the world; there are numerous mythical legends, characters, and places, some dating back centuries.
Every piece contains information about the subject and the ‘tale’ behind it, as well as added performance directions written on each score. Pieces are presented in graded order and there are eight pieces within each of the three grades.
Lucky Charms (80 Days Publishing) is a collection of 21 solo piano pieces for elementary level pianists, or from around Grade 1 – 2 of the British music examination syllabus standards.
Many of the pieces were previously written for Pianist Magazine, for whom the composer writes an elementary piano piece in every issue. However, ten pieces from the selection were written especially for this book.
Lucky Charms represents an eclectic selection of different styles of music from dreamy romantic, atmospheric, reflective numbers to upbeat, lively pieces, and jazzy tunes.
