It’s time for a masterclass and today’s public lesson was filmed at the Oxford Piano Festival last year. This recording was streamed live on August 4th and the video contains the entire class, which runs nearly three and a half hours in length. If like me, you’re a fan of observing piano lessons, you will not be disappointed.
This event was held at The Jacqueline du Pré Music Building, St Hilda’s College, Oxford University. Eminent pianist and pedagogue Stephen Kovacevich gives the class which features three young pianists attending the festival. The repertoire includes works by Haydn and Chopin.
