CLASSICAL CONVERSATIONS
Classical Conversations is an interview series filmed between 2012 and 2015. Containing forty interviews with eminent classical pianists and teachers, each one features on Melanie’s YouTube channel. Melanie curated, filmed, and edited this series. She chats informally on camera to every artist and they talk about their training, musical education, and career. Each pianist is asked similar questions but their answers are diverse. It’s a fascinating glimpse into the world of the classical pianist.
‘Melanie’s series of interviews are splendid and highly enterprising. They are fresh, engrossing, entertaining, and educational – what more need be said?’
