Intermediate Piano Solos

No Words Necessary (Schott Music), published in 2018, is a selection of 12 original compositions for solo piano. Intended for students of intermediate level, or approximately Grade 3 – 7 of the British music examination syllabus standards. Each piece is tuneful, tonal, and written with a stylistic nod to minimalism, or music with repetitive structures.
These pieces were written during lunch breaks whilst adjudicating in Hong Kong for the Hong Kong Schools Festival Association!

Digressions (EVC Music) is a group of five piano pieces and represents the composer’s first published compositions. Published in 2015, the pieces are of an intermediate level, or around Grade 4 – 6 of the British music examination syllabus standards. Each piece has been written with a stylistic nod to minimalism.
Written with teenage and adult piano students in mind, the score contains detailed practice notes for every piece at the back of the book.

Piano Waves (EVC Music) is a group of five piano pieces. The pieces were published in 2016. They are intermediate level, or around Grade 4 – 6 of the British music examination syllabus standards. Similar to Digressions, each piece has been written with a stylistic nod to minimalism.
This collection was inspired by the composer’s time spent giving recitals on cruise ships.
