Before I threw in the proverbial towel, posture was a big issue. Being over six feet tall weighing 20 stones, my belly would always drag me down, preventing me from sitting up straight whilst at the piano and contributing to a general ‘sluggish’ feeling. We’re not all nice and slim amd trim like you Mel even though some wish they were!

Lol – I’m sure there are ways of sitting effectively at the piano whatever size you are!! 🙂
hmmmm, at the risk of sounding sizeist, I have never ever seen an overweight, obese, or heavily built piano player ever!
Ummm….Brigitte Engerer, Fats Waller, Les Dawson, Oscar Peterson, ….just a few off the top of my head…there must be loads though!
Quite!! 🙂
