Women Composers – A Graded Anthology For Piano is a three-book series. It won a Presto Music Award for best ‘New Series Of The Year’ in 2022.

This collection of books focuses on music solely written by women. Book 1 features 21 piano works. The pieces progress in difficulty from Grade 1 to Grade 4 of the British music examination syllabus standard. Biographical details and performance notes accompany all the works in the series.

Book 2 progresses in difficulty from Grade 4 to Grade 7 of the British music examination syllabus standard.

The selected pieces span over 400 years. There are 19 pieces in this volume. It includes plenty of lesser-known beautiful and historic piano repertoire. The volume also features many specially commissioned contemporary works.

Book 3 progresses in difficulty from Grade 7 to Diploma level of the British music examination syllabus standard.

Featuring 12 works representing a wide range of styles and genres from Baroque to Contemporary music.

A selection of pieces from all three volumes appear on the ABRSM, RSL Classical, Victoria College of Music, and ANZCA music examinations syllabuses.
