Welcome to the first competition of the New Year here on my blog! The prize is a copy of Faber Music’s latest publications, The Ultimate Easy Piano Songlist. A great selection of pop songs, all arranged for the intermediate pianist, or around Grade 5 – 7 level (in my opinion!).
Classics by artists such as Adele, Cilla Black, Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald, Chris Rea, Michael Buble, Eagles, One Direction, Wham!, Nina Simone, Muse, Vera Lynn, David Bowie, Justin Beiber, Jamie Cullum, and Radiohead, to name a few. Complete with lyrics and chord indications, this is a lovely volume.
I have one copy to give away, so please leave your comment in the comment box at the end of this post and I’ll announce the winner on Monday evening (British time).
Good luck!

Looks like this volume is just the thing to revive a weary teenager ….but I would actually enjoy playing these myself as well !
I need this book in my life! Thanks for the opportunity 😀
Would love to have a new book! I would share it with my students so they would want one!!
Looks really good, please count me in!

I have a student in mind who would love this. Thanks for the opportunity!
I can think of quite a few of my teenage pupils who would be bowled over by this collection! Thanks Melanie!
I have several students who would benefit from this. Maybe I need to hold a competition in my studio to see who gets to use it!
Perfect timing for this gift – what a way for teens and adult pupils to wipe away the ” blahs” of the winter weather!
i have several students that I could use this book to mix up the routine from method books.
My teenage boys would really love this as a welcome break from their classical pieces set by their teacher – so difficult to keep teenage boys interested unless it involves a PS4!
Awesome! Just the thing my teenage students would get excited for!
Just gone through the contents… sounds promising!
My kids would flip out at this great collection!! What a great way to add variety to the lesson!! A great motivating tool!!
I love anything ‘Faber’. They’re well written, well edited, and true to their level. This looks like a great book! Have a good weekend, Melanie!
Great first competition of the year! Good selection of songs to keep people interested in playing the piano.
I’m not sure I’ve ever been involved in one of your giveaways before. What IS the competition?!
I have at least a couple of students who would love and benefit from this great collection. Thank you!!
I’ve been a fan of the Fabers from the very beginning. This is my 44th year of teaching and I’m still in search of fresh and new challenges for my students. This would an exciting addition to use alongside the classics and other competition pieces. I strongly believe all students need a variety of learning experiences to encourage their full potential.
Looks amazing, I’ve been wanting a book that would supplement the more mature students. Thanks for posting this.
Looks like a great selection 🙂 Pick me!!!
I’ve been looking for something like this for my teenage students who have been asking to add pop music to their repertoire, this will be great. Thank you.
Fun selections, Faber has a winner here!
I have several students in Level 5. I have seen The Eagles in concert and Ed Sheeran is a great songwriter. Sounds like a marvelous song list. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity!
